Organising an ANZAC day ceremony in Antibes was originally the ambitious idea of Steve Wright, RAN and Peacekeeping Forces veteran. The ANZAC ANTIBES Association was formed in 2017 and maintained by Steve Wright and Linda Blochet and their team of dedicated volunteers for over 12 years. They accepted funding from local businesses and worked closely with Antibes Town Hall, leaving a rich legacy.
Since 2025, the RBL Provence Monaco Branch assumed responsibility for ANZAC and Commonwealth Remembrance and is proud to be having their first dawn ceremony on 25th April 2026.
