The Branch has been invited by the RBL Branch Lyon-Liberation to share in the Commemoration of the life of Anna Guèrin in the early afternoon of 04 March.
This is being organised by the Préfècture of the Ardèche region.
Anna Guèrin was the originator and promoter of the Poppy as a symbol for fundraising and remembrance of British and Commonwealth veterans and their families. She was born and is buried in Vallon Pont d’Arc in the Ardèche though early life was spent in the US and Great Britain.
We shall be laying a Wreath in Commemoration on behalf of Members.
